Common Errors that are not on the Megathread

Since most people are new because of registrations being opened, I'm going to write all of the common errors that I've seen on here that are not on the Megathread.
1. Game reinstalls when I try to play a game/Game never opens
Try using internet explorer and other browsers. (Make sure that it opens a link that opens the launcher)
2. I cannot install the client
Go here: https://goodblox.xyz/Install/Default.aspx and turn off your antivirus as well as the browser antivirus.
3. Launcher Opens but I get an error (Ex. libary/dll)
Make sure that the "Launcher.exe" is set to always run in administrator and is set to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3. Also make sure that "GoodBloxClient.exe" and "GoodBloxStudio.exe" are set to run in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and that they always run in administrator. Also open "Register.exe" as administrator.
Locations for these files are most commonly here:
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Local\GoodBlox
4. I can't create/publish a game.
You need to open GoodBlox Studio as administrator to create/publish games.
5. I can open the installer but some files aren't downloaded.
You must open the installer in administrator mode and make sure that your antivirus or Windows isn't blocking these files from being created.
If none of these worked, try installing the 86x version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010, 2013, 2015 and 2017. If you don't want to mass download, then get 2008 and 2015. For the best results, download all of them. |
