GOODBLOX Common Client Issues

For your client needs.
Error loading type library/DLL
Known fixes:
- Open RobloxApp.exe, and open a new do####ent (place). Click on the "Publish to ROBLOX" option and click on the "Fix" option, then restart your computer. |

Server exceution failed
This has various fixes:
- Try setting your compatability mode on the GoodBloxClient.exe to Windows 7
- Try setting Launcher.exe as administrator
- Try running Register.exe as administrator, then logging on/off or restarting your PC
- Set the GoodBlox client folder as an exclusion in your antivirus
- Rejoining sometimes fixes it |

Cannot view transparency on parts, or can't maximize the window fully, or want to make it look older
Try these settings known to work: (Change them in RobloxApp.exe)

Failed to register! ShellExecute returned 2
-Delete your current ClientFinal.zip and extracted folder
-Click on your Windows Start menu
It's the Windows logo located in the bottom left of your screen.
-Select 'Settings'
It's the gear icon in the menu that appears.
-Click 'Update & Security'
In the new window that pops up, select 'Update & Security.' It's the bottom left option.
-Select 'Windows Security'
In the sidebar that appears on the right, click on the second option.
-Choose 'Virus & threat protection'
In the new menu that appears, select the first option under Protection areas.
-Click 'Virus & threat protection settings'
A new window will appear. Click on 'Virus & threat protection settings.'
-Turn Real-time protection 'Off'
-Redownload ClientFinal.zip
-Extract anywhere you like
-Run Register.exe |

Class not registered
Open RobloxApp.exe, and create a new place.
Click on File > Publish to ROBLOX
Click on the "Fix" button.
Join a game, then restart your PC. |

Trouble uploading games or models:
-Client says upload succesfully but no game shows up/updates
Attempt at setting the "Strict IP mode" in My GoodBlox > Edit Profile (In the client) and try uploading.
-Client gives an error while uploading game/model
Press the "Fix" option, attempt at joining a game multiple times. Restarting also helps to fix this issue. |

For all of those who have the launcher disappear immediately after opening, is invisible or shows up in task manager,
Open task manager, close "GoodBloxClient.exe", then Set Launcher.exe as administrator, and add compatability on GoodBloxClient.exe for Windows 7 and tell me what happens
Right Click on Launcher.exe
Properties>Compatability>Set this program as administrator
Right click on GoodBloxClient.exe
Properties>Compatability>Set as Windows 7 |

REMEMBER: CHECK YOUR ANTI VIRUS BEFORE PLAYING, MAKE AN EXCLUSION FOR GOODBLOX

Step 1: Open up RobloxApp.exe
Step 2: Click on "Tools" then click "Settings".
Step 3: A pop up will appear click OK.
Step 4: Go to "Rendering" and scroll down all the way.
Step 5: Change FullscreenPrefrence to 1920,0
Step 6: Change WindowSizePrefrence to 1920,1080
Step 7: Exit out and enjoy playing on a bigger screen!
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO SET WINDOWSIZEPREFRENCE AS YOUR NATIVE SCREEN RESOLUTION |

If you're having an unknown error/your Register.exe keeps closing without proper activation:
Delete every trace of the GoodBlox client. Zip files, folders, files, everything must go.
Check your settings to make sure your account does not have restrictions (such as parental controls, etc)
Create a new folder on your Desktop "GoodBlox" or something similar.
In Windows Defender, go to its settings, then exempt the folder you created. If you need help with that, go here: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-exclude-files-and-folders-windows-defender-antivirus-scans
Restart your computer. Reconnect to your internet connection.
Re-download GoodBlox in #download
Extract to the folder you exempted and created earlier.
Right click Register.exe and go to compatibility. Set the check-box to "Run as administrator". Repeat this for the other .exe files in the folder.
Run Register.exe - try playing a game after. |

Special Tip
Be sure to create a new folder (with English characters only, NO spaces) on your Desktop or whatever. Exempt that folder in Defender before extracting the client inside there.

Can't find the fix button on "Publish" menu on GOODBLOX Studio? >> CLASS NOT REGISTERED, PART 2:
On the menu where it asks what you want to do, press the [Tab] Key until you see it.
We'll resolve this in the future, but until then, this is how you'd get to the "Fix" button. |

I'm too afraid to launch the old client because I'm aware that it uses IP addresses to host. Is this archived client still insecure, or has it been fixed? |
