Direct Assets - An Update!

GOODBLOXians,

We have noticed that ROBLOX removed /batch/ and /asset/ over the last couple days. This broke stuff loading in games and your avatar. You may have noticed that decals, faces, hats (like, two hats), and meshes don't load at all when you're playing a game unless it uses a completely different URL, like a.goodblox.xyz.

We are able to fix tools, hats, and faces to an extent for now, but there is no fix at all for decals and meshes in this current client. This means we need to develop a completely new client to get things working without having to change stuff manually on your end.

NEW: "You can open the place file in a text editor (like Notepad++) and do a search and replace for http://www.roblox.com/asset/? with http://a1.goodblox.xyz/?forceRobloxAsset& - so for example, http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id=1818 turns into http://a1.goodblox.xyz/?forceRobloxAsset&id=1818 - doing this should render meshes/decals in your game." - Pizzaboxer

You can use a1.goodblox.xyz to throw Decals in your games when you upload them. Right click on the image on the decal you're viewing and navigate to "Open Image in New Tab", or what ever. You will see the link in your URL bar.

As for meshes, I am soon to begin the lengthy process of uploading as many as I can...ONE BY ONE...to GOODBLOX for everyone to use at their own leisure. They will be available as a mesh pack in the models section which you can use in your games. You can also copy the assetID when you view the mesh in GOODBLOX Studio.

Sorry folks, but this is how it is. Blame ROBLOX for this one - I know it's fun to blame me (even when that blame is not serious/genuine), but this time, direct your blame elsewhere.

In short, use my mesh pack (soonTM) and upload Decals to fix your games.
Finally, we will have a fix for faces, tools, and the like soon.

I found you could use https://assetdelivery.roblox.com/v1/asset/?id=[Direct asset id here] for decals, not sure about other stuff like sounds or meshes.

Idk why roblox keeps having problems with this game
they ruined their game completely
we are just og's that want to feel the nostalgia
They removed tix,forums,they added anthro and rthro,made the game look shittier than it was
